Arcade Fire's #1?? Wow! Pretty cool. That's a surprise considering most of my fave bands never get much recognition.

Hmm there's a distinct lean towards indie, I'm not sure whether that's a sign of the times or the reveiwers.

actually with NME indie is what they are all about except for a little pop.
With Q I would say its a bit of both-they have always been a rock mag and I think when you look at rock in new music (not metal or hard rock) indie is where they would lean and since they are a UK mag there is a lack of americana and southern rock.
