:heheh:

Yeah that was a clip from the TV special James Paul McCartney where he and Linda were at the movies that lead into the Live and Let Die sequence.

It fit great for this video!

Sir Paul is finally joining his three friends this week. He's the last Beatle to receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony will be this Thursday (Feb. 9th) at 2:00pm. He will join John, George and Ringo in front of the Capitol Records building on Vine. I can't wait.

Yeah I heard about the Walk Of Fame! That's pretty awesome for Macca!!

Well this is as good of a time as any to cover a bit more MACCA ground here. The next album had the new line up of Laurence Juber on guitar and drummer Steve Holly. Back To The Egg!!

Funny that Paul didn't really seem to like this album much, at least in interviews. When asked if the album was sort of a concept he replied with bombcept.
:heheh:

Not sure how hit and miss this album is for fans but I've talked to MANY fans over the years and alot of us feel it is one of the band's best works. Me personally?? I'm still waiting for the day that Paul may make a return to this formula and create something like it on a future release. That would be cool!!!

See if you can all spot all the great guest musicians on this awesome track...including John Bonham and Pete Townshend

Rockestra Theme

Getting Closer

So Glad To See You Here

..again try and spot all the guest stars...see Dave Gilmour? Kenny Jones? :grinthumb

Not to be detrimental or putting anyone down or anything, as I love the bloke, but just how did the Hollywood Walk of Fame people justify putting Ringo on the Walk before Paul McCartney?!?!

One of the rules is that the recipient has to attend the ceremony. According to the Walk of Fame committee they've been trying to get Paul since 1993 but he was always too busy to attend. I guess he finally agreed after the other three got their stars.

I just downloaded the album thanks to your enthusiasm towards it so I'm going to give it a try. I read some reviews and they weren't at all that good, but considering critics suck, I'm going to give it a chance free of prejudice. :D:grinthumb

It finally happened. Paul got his star. I was in Paullywood today with hundreds of other fans to see it. Neil Young introduced him. It was a great day. Congratulations and it's about time.acc503f70b1dbf04060f6a70670003d6.sjpg_900_540_0_95_1_50_50.sjpg.jpgbdf085b51fcbc004060f6a7067006b02.sjpg_900_540_0_95_1_50_50.sjpg.jpg138608331.sjpg_900_540_0_95_1_50_50.sjpg.jpg40ccb1bd1fccc004060f6a7067000cc5.sjpg_900_540_0_95_1_50_50.sjpg.jpg

That definitely sounds like an epic day. Really lucky of you to have been there.

Btw, today Paul McCartney is streaming something via iTunes. So check it out, it's in like 50 minutes.
