The film and album Give My Regards To Broadstreet celebrate their 40th anniversary.
The film was a little cheesy at times and the album rested a little on previous successes but I still really like both.
I’m certain I bought the album Give My Regards To Broadstreet before buying Tug of War so Broadstreet was me introduction to “Wanderlust” and “Ballroom Dancing”
I saw the movie at the theaters, complete with the animated short Rupert and The Frog Song when it was released, and would eventually buy the album on vinyl, cassette, and a few years later on cd. I also have the picture disc of “We All Stand Together” and VHS copies of the animated short and Broadstreet.
