I think it's kind of rare to find any big mistakes after a couple days and in that case the staff can easily be of help. Hell, if every video is marked with a title we will even replace the videos. :D You can ask @Phil B.! I went through his opus and fixed the whole thing when it was requested! :) I'm not against change but I've been here a long time and in other forums and I have gotten to see what works over time in the long run. Behind the scenes I've hovered over plenty of people who've tried to rile people up and play Houdini afterward. It's not the majority of course but if their wasn't a minority that behaved in certain ways we wouldn't enact any rules or laws in any sense. I'm admittedly not the best when it comes to advanced technical glitches but helping people with their threads is a basic mod trait that we are all happy to oblige with! :grinthumb

Yeah was just going to add that when people post videos or album pics its best to put the title of it in typed out wording too. Easier to replace dead links that way.

I have never thought of it that way. I just thought of it as a double title that makes it look cool. Instead it makes one of your alls' jobs easier. I'll remember to do that from now on.

I like it this way. I'm on a non-music forum where you can change your post forever. I see people trying to pull that "stir up trouble and then disappear." The only way the moderators can stop this is to be on top of people, all the time, for every little thing. Double-posting is a capitol offense on that forum. The moderators on that forum are not really considered "friends," and when I came here it took me a while to get use to the fact that the mods did not act superior, but are helpful, join in, and are friendly. :)

It's not a huge gripe of mine but I have noticed its harder to replace things in band threads especially when videos have no name to them. lol
I don't mind just removing the link if its dead with no name but if I could replace it because it had the title above it it would be a better option.
