...and I'm still seeking the vinyl copy of the first album. It is the only one I have missing in my BJH collection.
Glad you liked them. Whole album is just great.

After several line-up changes the Crane-Hammond-Du Cann trio has finally recorded and released a second album 'Death Walks Behind You' which features much darker sound, not very common in progressive rock. This great record features great guitar work from Du Cann and his song writing skills proved to give it a great success including two singles 'Tomorrow Night' and 'Devil's Answer'.
Favourite tracks: Death Walks Behind You, Sleeping for Years and Gershatzer
Tracks worth to look at: There are several tracks recorded at John Peel's Sessions with Carl Palmer on drums before leaving to form the prog supergroup ELP, one of them is Gershatzer (no video found)

It's time for a live album and no surprise it has to be by one of my all time favourite bands Uriah Heep. It is incredibly well produced and the whole concert makes you feel like you're there. It was recorded in Birmingham, January 1973 promoting their album 'The Magician's Birthday'. If I ever meet someone holding a compilation album, I would tell them to buy this album instead. It has all the great songs that can make you become a Heepster. In my opinion - the best live album ever released.
Favourite tracks: Traveller In Time, Easy Livin' and Look At Yourself

This album seems to be slightly overlooked, when some people praise Get Your Wings, Toys In The Attic or their 80s era, to me the first album gives the proper flavour of Aerosmith and on music they grew with. The whole album is filled with good hard rock and blues touches and distinctive vocals.
Favourite tracks: Make It, One Way Street and Movin' Out

New line up, new sound. After Ian Gillan's and Roger Glover's departure it was time to try out with two singers, David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes. With Burn it worked perfectly. Out of three Coverdale/Hughes albums, this one is the best in my honest opinion. Definitely not as powerful as Machine Head, but hey, does it really matter? All members of the band still show what they can do and they did it well. Also... COWBELL!
Favourite tracks: Burn, Might Just Take Your Life and You Fool No One
Tracks worth to look at: Lay Down, Stay Down (the live version from California Jamming is definitely rocked out one, I much prefer this over the studio version)

B4 Single-Handed Sailor 4:44
B5 Follow Me Home 5:42
This album brings me back in time mainly because my dad played it very often. I feel that early Dire Straits is more blues oriented than their commercial vein of Brothers In Arms. Mark Knopfler to me is like Eric Clapton, but much better than worn out era... I know, weird comparison. Have I mentioned also that this is an underrated album?
Favourite tracks: Communiqué, Angel of Mercy and Portobello Belle

A2 Run With the Wolf 3:48
A3 Starstruck 4:06

Dragons, kings and queens, rainbows... Ronnie and his incredible songwriting and vocal skills made this album a total masterpiece. Definitely different sound to Deep Purple with more synthesizers this time. Stargazer in particular is one of the songs that not only gives me goose bumps, but also brings tears in my eyes. At the time when Ronnie James Dio died I listened to it I couldn't hide the fact it touched me and I cried. Such an inspirational musician...
Favourite tracks: Tarot Woman, Stargazer and A Light In The Black
