All tracks are excellent, the ones I posted are in my opinion absolute outstanding. Immigrant Song is one of the song I can come back to and listen few times in a row.
After Lord's rework of Mozart's 'Kroenungsmesse' to double 12 bar blues in 3/4 I became more interested on his solo work. It is a fusion of classical and rock and I've already been familiar with classical music, so I thought I'll give it a shot, especially after reading it is regarded as his one of his best works. After first listen I couldn't believe myself what I heard! Such an astonishing piece of artwork. The more I listened to it, the more I was touched about the fact he's not with us anymore. Is it a real shame. At times sounds like some bits were taken from Concerto For Group And Orchestra as well as were used from this album in later compositions. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!

Uriah Heep's 4th album 'Demons And Wizards' gave the band a space in fame and great success. On their finest hour they showed what a great musicianship and songwriting is, bringing this time more fantasy to the music. I have that slight feeling it's not as exciting as their previous album, but still a great album and keep coming back to it from time to time. Just listen to 'Circle of Hands' and that beautiful sound of Hammond organ. Wonderful!

For a band, that came out of original blues roots with guitarist, who played with traditional blues singers from the States, Split delivers a quite heavy mixture of blues and heaviness. In other words - it is quite heavy. It's an absolute shame they became one of those successful, but forgotten bands later. If you like Hendrix and Cream, Groundhogs will fit in your taste quite well.

I keep coming back to this album with a thought 'wow, what a heavy beast!' It is considered as one of the first doom rock albums and couple of track are slow and have heavy bass that mainly follows the guitar. A good starter for someone, who wants to give this band a first listen.

'Sin After Sin' has got to be one of my Judas Priest albums, first time I bought it on CD and listened to it I was something my ears were asking for in years. Yes, it was produced by Roger Glover and that's partly the reason why I think it's a brilliant LP, but mainly it is a good transition from their early hard rocking material to pounding metal riffs.

Out of the folk trilogy, Heavy Horses is the album I enjoy the most. It has an interesting vibe of the countryside I spent the holiday once back in the day at my great grandparents. Countryside with stables, forest and farming. Oh, those days. It used to be at the top list of faves, however now it still keeps the podium.

'Journey? Oh, yeah I know Journey, they were huge in the 80s. What? Wait, they were active in the 70s? Interesting, let me have a look. *plays Look Into The Future* Whaaat? Is this Journey? Nooo, it can't be, they sound too different...' - my thought on this album at first. But in a positive way, I was very surprised to hear what I heard on this album. Heavy, groovy with prog touches. Tasty!
