New Heart CD in 2012

I'm only moderately interested in a new album. I hate to say that but Red Velvet Car was pretty ordinary IMO...a few good songs, alot of filler. And the new one's gonna be produced by Ben Mink again?...in the relatively small circle of Heart fans I know, Ben Mink is NOT very popular ( for both his work on RVC and Ann's solo album). Red Velvet Car sounded like another Lovemongers album, NOT a Heart album, and I'm not holding out much hope for this next one ( I hate to say that). I'd like to hear something more reminiscent of their early material and I don't think that's where Ann and Nancy are, and they no longer have the band to pull it off anyway. I'll give whatever they put out a chance but I can't say I'm eagerly awaiting it.

Yeah, it is more Mink..the guy who asked Ann to tone down her voice so he could "hear her soul".. Everything you said I agree with..hope for the best, prepare for bleh, if it rocks then
