I find Bob Dylan overrated. I just don't like anything of his except "Like a Rolling Stone". I can't find any other appeal in what he's done musically.

I have tried over the years to "Get" Dylan, but I only have his greatest hits 2 CD compilation. I like him but I have to agree with you PF, I feel he is overrated.

^^^Boy PinkFreud & Lord Grendel, we sure as heck agree on our feelings about the nasally one. Dude should have been a plumber and a midnight coffee house poet. Certainly not a "musician".

I like some of Dylan's words and song ideas, but as far as the music, without "The Band" Dylan is just nasal toast to my ears. One shouldn't have to feel sorry for, our make excuses for the artist, just in order to listen to them.

His question still begs: "How does it feel" My answer is short and direct. "Painful" (listening to Dylan's voice that is)

I like Neil Young,,,warts and distorted vocals and all...

I have to say the Best album CSN & Y ever released is "So Far", in this instance the best of is a great album, even includes Joni Mitchell's drawing for the cover.

Couldn't have said it better myself, and to the Dylan talk, I don't like much of his music, I can listen to Blonde on Blonde pleasurably, and the album Hurricane is on, i can never remember the name because I don't own the album, but I like it, other than that I can't stand his voice, his words are unbelievable, can be over rated, but its still great none the less

Neil Young & Bob Dylan are highly overrated! But I still enjoy their music and as for Bob Dylan his wonderful music wouldn't be the same had their not being people translating his music!
