Yep, the solos in "I got the Fire" and "we're going Home" were always my two Montrose faves and used to make my eyes and ears pop when I was a lad back in the 70's.

Back then Ronnie was way ahead of his time and way ahead of just about all of the competition.

One guy that I would seriously call an overlooked rock genius (maybe not genius, but DEFINITELY overlooked phenom) would be Frank Marino
