True and I agree about long songs in general, I mean I love Opeth so that should say how much I like lengthy tracks. :heheh:
I just found some of the AJFA tracks to repeat themselves where I think thats where the song should have maybe ended.

This isn't Metallica, but I found this to be a really cool remake of Nothing Else Matters by Lucie Silvas

Ok that was just beautiful...in fact I like this (the instrumental sections and production) much better than Apocaqlyptica's Metallica remakes...but then again I like their original stuff better.

Again...cool version man. :grinthumb

Not bad Lynch, sounds good, I don't mind some covers, as for long songs I love extended songs and I believe that all bands should attempt to do some at some time in their career :)

A song that never made it to Magnetic. The intro riffs are good but James vocals are as ****ing awful as The Day That Never Comes. I hate his clean vocals lately. Reminds me of some of the vocals on The Day That Never Comes, which is why it pisses me off, that song was so boring, Hate Train has some very good metal riffs that are enjoyable, but other parts the song just doesn't work well.

James won't be able to use his guttural vocals forever no matter what Riff. I don't mind him singing in a normal voice, if nothing else it's a change of pace from his original style.

I don't think that song you posted is one of their very best, but it's not all that bad...;)

I don't mind clean vocals but he seems to try high pitched screaming in it which is off putting to me. I don't think it is all that bad either but I still think its worth pointing out what I didn't like about it.
The parts I enjoyed were the riffs, they created some really awesome music there. But the high pitched vocals were off putting to me, I know some like them which is fair but as I keep saying it is all just my opinion. James has showed he can still do growling vocals, he does really good growls at times actually. Surprised this song didn't make the album though as I certainly enjoyed it more then some of what did make Magnetic.
Id give the song a solid 7,8 out of 10. I enjoyed the riffs, some really enjoyable guitar work there, the negative for me were the high pitched vocal screams which threw me off a little.
