The band have handled it disgracefully bad. And Elina deserves no blame for this because she never had anything to do with how the band handled the Liv situation.

Yeah exactly. A lot of people had a hard time getting behind Anette when she joined Nightwish after the way Tarja was fired but this one seems actually a worse way of handling it. Tarja was open letter but Liv didn't even have notice until the last minute.

Even with the open letter, I think the Tarja firing was pretty last minute too. Right at the end of that tour IIRC.

As far as Leaves' Eyes, the post that Liv's father made, indicating infidelity on Alex's part, has resurfaced on FB.

I wonder how much opinion would change if she was the "other woman"? That would be even $hittier than what we have at the moment for sure.

I agree. I pretty much let Nightwish drop off my radar because the chemistry has changed without Tarja. I feel the same will happen with Leaves Eyes.


But I have to admit Elina is a very talented vocalist...there are a couple of YT vids with Elina live with Leave's Eyes at Hammersonic Fest and it seems awkward (plus the sound quality sucks)

Its a pity how Elina entered the band into this shitstorm because she is a good vocalist. I can't respect how the band has handled the situation. They talk to their fans on Facebook like petulant children and tossed aside one of the founding members from her own band.

I'm not feeling it. Elina is a decent singer, but without Liv it feels more like a product than a passion!

Liv was a heart of this band. Now this just an another good band without any special things.

It's an OK song, but I'll never buy another LE album.

The band was Liv's with Atrocity as backup, the name should still be hers.
