Bio from Voyagerau.com

Since their formation, Perth, Australia’s Voyager have fearlessly defied any genre norms, boundaries and regulations thrust upon them. They embrace pop; employ a keytar on stage, and bring forward a positive, uplifting feeling to their riff-laden music, running head-first into the endless parade of heavy bands who see the world in a darker light.

The genre-transfiguring quintet blend new-romantic and 80’s infused vocals, keytar solos, technical yet melodic fretwork, groovy bass and bombastic drumming efforts. All of which make Voyager the progressive pop metal force that they are renowned as today.

A story of passion, perseverance and patience, VOYAGER have been throwing their hat in the ring for the Eurovision Song Contest since Australia announced its participation in 2015. And now, after eight years of perseverance, patience, and fan support, Voyager have secured a top 10 position representing Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with their song 'PROMISE', an epic progressive pop metal masterpiece that takes listeners on an emotive journey of adventure and redemption. .
