I used to be a Kiss Fanatic/Full Fledged member of The Kiss Army back in the 70s, and back then my vote would've been for Kiss easily. But, now that I've aged a bit in both years and musical taste, Rush wins this hands down for me.

Rush had a bit more depth.Also,another thing that puts them over the top for me is the fact that they had one of the all time greatest bassists(Geddy Lee) and Neil Peart,who is always considered one of the finest drummers if not the very best.Some have even chosen him over Keith Moon..............

All the merchandising aside, KISS was/is a fun band. I like Rush but not as much.
