Neil Peart,who is always considered one of the finest drummers if not the very best.Some have even chosen him over Keith Moon..............

Pfttt.. I'm not much of a Rush fan, but Peart is as good as it gets and has been for many, many years. Keith Moon couldn't lift Neil's jockstrap with a forklift.

Moon was more personality than talent and the guy was a complete mess in concert, especially the last 8-9 years before he tipped over. I've never heard anyone call Neil sloppy in concert, Keith on the other hand was sloppy more often than not.

Back to your original comment about people choosing Peart over Moon... anyone who has any sense of drumming at all, would know Moon couldn't hold a candle to Peart. Can't speak for "preference" but what I would consider "technical talent", it's no contest.

I relate KISS as a band all the little kids went ape over in the late 70's, that and the whole make-up thing.
