Guns N' Roses vs. Van Halen

I love both bands, but I'm just more fond of G&R's sound.

I would pretty much choose Guns N' Roses over any band when it comes to preference.

Depends on what line-up you look at.
They both had PHENOMENAL original lineups that oozed with chemistry. It's easy to see they both ran the L.A music scene early in their careers. (But I don't know how Motley Crue managed to snake in there). Both bands are at the top of my lists. So that's a tricky choice...

Van Halen died for me when Sammy Hagar stepped in.
Everything for Guns went downhill once Izzy left.

Van Halen. Only with Sammy Hagar on lead vocals.

Van Halen hands down..... I'll even go the distance and say Van Hagar was also better than G & R. My humble opinion.
