Kind of sitting on the fence on a couple - those two Berry songs I posted I couldn't choose between, and Cat Stevens has never had a "Stand-out" hit among his songs for me - they're all awesome, so hard to split!

Prince is FAR and away the hardest one for me to choose one single favorite song from as I love so much of his work, especailly from about 1980-1992 or so.

Bon Jovi and Van Halen were also both VERY tough for me. On any given day, those songs could change, but for today, I'll stick with what I put down.

Heh, that song would be lucky to make my top 50 favorite prince tunes. Bleh.

hard to believe THAT was the first single off the follow up album to Purple Rain, which in my opinion was probably THE best pop/rock album of the 80's. (non hard-rock or metal, of course)

DMSR = Dance Music Sex Romance... it's on the 1999 album.

I can't stand him or his music at all...never did get why he was so popular, but no worries that particular song is on my top 20 worst of all time list though.:D
