Why should a recording, live, and touring group be left to be forgotten about to the dust bins of history?! Don't you want huge swaths of the masses enjoying and getting into a song, long play, or what ever product?! To support the artist financially if nothing else so that they will be inspired to take the time, money, and effort to create more?! Why do people not understand, comprehend, and value this and these basic ideas and concepts with life and how things work?! I for one am SO desperate for new physical media releases of profoundly expanded l.p.s far beyond what most have had done already anyway! I don't believe the artists for a second that they are in any way emptying their archives in Super Deluxe Editions! I think that they have been and are holding back for future releases and probably more than likely any chance of future re-releases! I don't think anyone want to go through buying sets that will not be as full as possible! (Hello, Led Zeppelin, I am talking to you! QUEEN and Michael Jackson too for that matter!) None of these exciting prospects of physical projects will happen if the artists and record companies do not make money from them! I strongly suspect that they don't now already and wonder if they ever have in the first place which I personally seem to think they are slowing down (and have been over the last two years or so) because they see that they (Super Deluxe Editions) are so difficult to sell mere less make their money back if any at all. I just am so confused over such exciting projects to have happened far beyond my wildest dreams and as many people having such an exciting passion for as well all around the world and yet I truly do not believe that the general public honestly even know much about them even existing! Nothing is going to sell if the public does not know about it...
...SO a way to sell product as it has always been has been to tour and perform live. This has been lost on the public since they have not been able to sell their music with the rise of the internet. Remember we were being dictated to that the future of making money with music was to perform live! As if this had not been done since we could stand upright in evolution. Jesus. For real, yo. So sad and pathetic that people took that to truth. Man, anything can be sold if people know how to do it. How can a product not be sold that so many people around the world still have such profound passion for? Is someone here going to to tell me that people don't care about music any more? Sure the understanding is that it can be simply stolen, listened to, or consumed in other ways and those may not be entirely bad either but when it comes to paying for music why would people not want something in return? You can't re-sell a digital download. You can how ever re-sell a physical product. So by default there is something inheritingly advantaged by having in that manner of a format. Where is you all's own passion for music? Why do you settle with the idea and concept of failure and the impossibility of the rest of the public not having a passion behind it as well concerning supporting it as consumers?
This is why how ever the future reveals itself with being able to sell music or at least promote it having a live line-up of a group is vital as far as I am concerned. The idea and concept that they cannot or should not be able to record new songs and release long plays (in whatever format) as well is something that people should not be confined and imprisoned to. Do you all really enjoy watching shit artists like Taylor Swift and children such as the red headed guitarist whatever his name is who does the +, -, divide l.p.s should be making as much money as the Rolling Stones in one show and or tour?! Is that not evidence that the system is broken and fucked up? I mean I am a capitalist pig but how much does an artist have to make to be a world record holder if it is now nine million dollars in one show and 750 million U.S. dollars on a tour with NINE million people seeing it? And done by people who are far closer to being children than long term adults for that matter...and haven't accomplished anything either musically in a revolutionary or pioneering cultural or industry manner either for that matter!!! Jesus H.W. Christ. I feel like I am in some matrix time warped twilight zone where everything is fucked up and back-ass-wards! HELP!!!
So, yes, there should be a new FREE line-up to get things going. They should start off in small places and rooms playing at people's private birthday parties, events and then administrative functions then opening for people in clubs and then doing their own shows there eventually (and slowly for that matter; and not all within one tour either, Jesus) working up to bigger venues. These things should be also documented extensively both audio-ally in 5.1 and visually (also in 5.1) all along the way too. Hopefully a live l.p. can be done eventually as they continue to tour and promote it. Touring for it could be done over more than one tour. It would probably be a good idea depending how many songs an artists has that they cover to re-record one and record a couple of new ones to be included in a live release however many might get done. Maybe some would not need the new studio recordings if there were to be more than one live audio release. Hopefully none of this would stop an artist to start recording new studio recordings eventually to be put into the vaults for both a future debut release and archive release(s) years down the road include re-releases. The live l.p.s should be kept to a minimum unless the artist(s) is/are talented enough to expand and or improvise the songs to where there would be justification for releasing more than one release or that there are enough songs to play live if the original catalogue is extensive enough. Each live release should also have a companion "music home video" of the show (or shows if they are compilations of live performances; in the case of multiple shows it also would be best to have as much filmed as well of the shows that they are drawn upon if financially expediant) either sold with it or separately. As a matter of fact the way things can be done now a days features and aspects of a show could and should be included any way to entice the consumer to buy the "music home video" if sold separately. This could included selections of and from interviews, performances, rehearsals, back stage footage, and interviews with fans too! Hard cover books that are extensive as well and not short should be included in the audio physical releases. This is why Blu-ray Audio should be used in the future or some sort of (physical) format that was not ever properly embraced in the first place especially in its potential for having features. I know it is already considered a failed physical format but was it ever used to its greatest potential in terms of features that it could include?! Why was "Grrr" on Blu-ray audio by the Rolling Stones an abridged version of the c.d. release? It was as if they gave up on making the it on Blu-ray audio. That it was too hard to do!
