Do you love yourself some folk metal? Than Eluveitie is definitely the band you should highly consider getting yourself into. This album was released in 2010, and with everything i've heard from them before, this album is an absolute step up from what they have done before. Its full of so much metal and folk that it's ridiculous. They give folk metal a good name. With the addition of flutes and violins, the genre itself gives me chills. When you add a metal growling voice, and some female vocals, it makes it perfect. This album has something extra that I really enjoy, INSTRUMENTALS! Ever wondered what it'd be like to just listen to a couple minutes of pure folk? Well, this album offers it, the song Setlon is an absolutely phenomenal instrumental piece that beats a lot of instrumental i've heard before by a lot of bands. Its a perfect mixture of soothing and 'heavy'. In all honesty, if you love music anyway, why not pay an extra ten bucks to give this album a listen. I promise, you will not be disappointed, and if you are, ill buy you some q-tips to clean out those ears.
