Cream vs The Jimi Hendrix Experience?

Battle of the power trios. Man for man would take Hendrix over Clapton, Bruce over Redding and Baker over Mitchell.

Love both bands but would have to give the nod to Cream.

If one goes for the man for man option I will take Cream. Think Ginger And Bruce are better than Noel and Mitch. Jimi beats Eric on pure innovation and guts. Maybe The Jimi Hendrix Experience had more importance music wise.

But because I just play and like cream better, I choose Cream.

Whether we're going man for man, the overall band, or quality of musical output, the answer for me is the Jimi Hendrix Experience.

I've tried for years to like Cream, but I can't get into anything past Sunshine of Your Love and White Room.

I have to go with the Jimi Hendrix Experience. I am a Cream fan, don't get me wrong, but if Hendrix is a tad more legendary, IMHO.
