These guys have pretty strong language

Finnish metal band COB was formed in 1993...melodic death metal with great hooks and guitar skills to boot!! Check these boys out or add to the thread and turn others on.

6 of their albums have reached gold status in Finland, three went number 1 along with chart positions in the U.S. Billboard Top 200.

I've always thought of these guys as a Power Metal band.

In Your Face seems a lot more Power than Death, to me at least.
Hate Crew Deathroll, probably the same. I do enjoy the cascading sound made from the keyboard in Hate Crew Deathroll!!

Hate Crew Deathroll is the only album of theirs I have right now, looking forward to getting hold of the others though. I love how fast-paced it is, and the 80s feel it has (well, to me anyway).

And yeah, there does seem to be a bit of confusion as to their genre, some people call it death, some black, some power metal, some blackened death. I like all of these genres though, so to be honest I don't care either way, the music's good and that's all that matters

Yea, the genre is only a description or categorization.
I keep an open ear out for music, whether it be metal, rock, electronica, classical or nerdcore!
