I now have a copy of "Ahead Rings Out", haven't had time to play it yet but I am anticipating something good after Jeffrey's glowing tribute to the band.

When the album "Ahead Rings Out" was issued in 1969, for some obscure and now forgotten reason, the American/Canadian version had a different cover to the UK version.

I would guess that all BP/MA releases on vinyl/cassette had a corresponding European/American release but I've only included at present those issues I definately know about. For instance, I haven't listed any UK cassette releases as I have no info about these, let alone a scan of the artwork - anyone got any? All help with enlarging this discography will be appreciated and credit given if/when this either makes it into print or onto an internet source.

I like them both Jeffrey,,,the N.American release is kind of cool with the bullseye, I have the English release though, my cover is exactly the same as the first one.

Ahead Rings Out is one of my all time favourite Lp's. Another "lost classic".

Seems the UK and US releases had different track listings.

"Leave It With Me" from the UK version is an instrumental which at one time was being touted as a "lost" Jethro Tull outtake, especially by US fans who hadn't heard the tune as it wasn't included on the US release.

I picked up the 2006 remastered EMI disc that combines all the songs from both the US and UK versions with a couple more of bonus tracks.
