Re: Allman Brothers Band

I now have Idlewild South, Eat A Peach, and Live at the Filmore East Groovy Man, but haven't had time to play them yet. Still that is three more Allman Brother's albums in the house than before you wrote this thread for them.:grinthumb

There ya go, LG...Now, all you been is some Grateful Dead and you'll be ready to roll.
:heheh:

But seriously, if you like southern rock, ''Brothers and Sisters'' might be the way to go next. I think you might be familiar with some of the tunes on this album.
I'm glad you're enjoying 'the Brothers'. :)

:tl:

Disc 1:

1. Dreams 10:18
2. Statesboro Blues 8:15
3. Trouble No More 4:14
4. Dimples 5:03
5. Every Hungry Woman 4:31
6. I'm Gonna Move To The Outskirts Of Town 9:23
7. Hoochie Coochie Man 5:25

Disc 2:

1. Mountain Jam (Theme From First There Is A Mountain) 43:59 :spit:

Mountain Jam was usually a very lengthy song, but almost 44 minutes, now that's a helluva jam, imo!

I agree Rocker440, ''Live at Ludlow Garage 1970'' is a superb performance! Plus Duane Allman and Berry Oakley sing lead vocals on two amazing tracks off that album. Duane with ''Dimples'' and Berry with ''Hoochie Coochie Man''. Legendary Stuff!

And speaking of legendary stuff...
