I have listened to some new music and finally I can say that Willy Nile has something I like, and the Cocktail Slippers, and Australia always has good music lately.

I'm with you on not liking much new music. It seems like everything's been done better in the 60s and 70s. So much of the new metal like Tool and Korn sounds mechanical and boring to my ears, unlike Pink Floyd for example who sounded great.

The Charm City Devils are great and Rhino Bucket is killer if you like Bon Scott era AC/DC.

A lot of others have posted some of my favorties like Wolfmother and The Hellacopters. Its hard to pin Wolfmother down as a popular 70's band that they sound like....they kinda sound like all of them at once, LOL. The Hellacopters remind me a lot of Cheap Trick.
