How about John Denver, he cant sing worth a hoot either, IMO. And I never cared for Neil Youngs voice either.

I know I am niave, but I didn't realize these guys insured their voices.....It isn't like they are going to suffer injury from singing, unless the mic jumps down their throat. Maybe if you growl improperly, you might injure your vocal chords.

sounds to me like insurance companies see these guys coming as fools!
I think the very nature of singing in a rock band is conducive to straining your vocal cords, esp in concert if the stage monitors aren't mixed right. I'm actually surprised it doesn't happen more often. Or that we don't hear about it happening more often.

I remember G&R cancelled some concert dates because Axl's voice was shot, and then of course he explained it all for us in an MTV interview as he nursed his vocal chords back to health with some JD and a smoke. Idiot.

Hey. Magic..Um the Lords of London have to insure his because of the amount of payoff if he loses his voice or suffers a major problem.. I don't know if all musicians insure theirs.... I feel for Tom Keifer because he was off on his last tour and had to stop do to rupturing his vocal cords and that was it for him.. He's back under the radar..When I seen them in concert (Cinderella) he had a problem with his voice and apologized for not being able to sing spot on.. His acoustic song he had to let the audience sing some of the chorus..:heheh:
It's was still a great concert..
I guess if Lloyds of London will insure David Lee Roth's wang, there's no good reason why they wouldn't open up a policy on someone's voice.

Didn't Elton insure his fingers? I believe Jennifer Lopez insured her heiney. Crazy, I know... :eek:hyeah:

I think Justin Timberlake got a blood clot a few years back and couldn't sing or something like that. Not sure if he insured his voice (I don't think so) but maybe something that like is why they insure it? I don't know but I did hear that J-Lo insured her butt, lol.

you're bashing PF all over the place lol:tongue:
I'm not that into them, but come on they aren't that bad:heheh:
Their voices are really mellow on most of their albums, which I like, it just doesn't always fit their songs.... but i like the few that it does fit
