I'm like you Kath...it grew on me over time...with each listen it still gets better to this day

When I hear Selling England by the Pound, I don't want any of the solo material (even Hackett's).


Selling England is a great album. Thought about getting more Genesis but was always told to avoid their more poppy era, which are the good albums?

^^I do like Abacab but on the whole early Genesis is by far the most interesting era for the band.
Riff you can't go wrong with everything up to and including Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. After that the band changed, I have no problem with them having success becoming more commercially appealing, but the progressive phase of the band will always be my favorite.
