Madonna nailed it and was dazzling, people can argue that point with me until they develop calluses on all their typing fingers for all I care, I have ears and eyes, and reasonable cognitive functions, and I know what I saw. It's the halftime SHOW of the Super Bowl. Who the hell cares if they are lip syncing or not? It's a spectacle. That's all.

It's like the "geniuses" who argue against wrestling by saying "Urrrggghh, ya know it's fake, right?" :oyea: Fact is, Madonna has enough performances non-lip sync where this is irrelevant. In a rock show the pyrotechnics and a little swaying with their pretty guitars is the physical part of the show. With artists who ARE the show and move around with choreography then lip sync obviously makes sense to deliver the show. But you are right Sound! There's no point in convincing the minds that are cemented! It's amusing at times to observe though! :heheh:

I thought she did a great job.. I liked when the drum corp came out. That was a nice touch.. But who were the two rapper chicks she had in the cheerleading number?? Didn't reconize them. LMFAO was you know..
But I thought she put on a good show.. I wondered about her lip syncing but I know her songs pretty much and either she pre recorded her songs and sang them and lip sync.. Or sang them live..

I prefer a halftime show for someone to be actually performing musically/vocally and not putting on a theatrical performance. It's what I prefer and I'm entitled to that opinion just like the pro-Madonna's are entitled to their opinion as well. I also think her new song is childish, but again, my opinion.

Oh and I hate wrestling...well at least the type that was mentioned here. So does that make me a genius? ;)

Congratulations GIANTS!!! :grinthumb

^^^ Take into account that pop singers do alot of dancing while performing so Lip Syncing makes sense because you would be winded from all the movement and you would hear it in their singing..

I don't know if anyone else caught this but when Kelly was singing.. One of the kids behind her was really over exaggerating her facial expressions when she was singing..:oyea:

Opinions are great! The act of pointing out an obvious trait like you (in the general sense of the word) are a "genius" for figuring out an element of something that is part of that genre/sport/act is what I was preferring to. I wouldn't say I'm pro-Madonna anymore than someone who's amused over an obsessive hate over any one artist. I still stand by the "If you hate something why give it that much more energy or attention". But like you said, opinions! :grinthumb
