Hi everyone,
I hope it’s okay to post this here. We’re Crooks & Straights, a neo-traditional country band from Rijeka, Croatia – we play steel- and fiddle-driven country with a strong classic influence rather than modern pop-country.
We’ve been invited to perform at the 2026 Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards in Marshall, Texas (October 1–4, 2026), an event that gathers independent country artists from different countries every year.
Since we are a fully independent band from Europe, there is no label or tour support behind us and the festival cannot pay for our flights or hotel. To have a real chance of coming over and playing for a Texas/US audience, we have started a small crowdfunding campaign to help with travel and modest accommodation costs. The campaign page also includes a live video of us, so you can see and hear the band before deciding whether to support or share anything.
