The last one ........... I can't decide. It's too hard. First I thought Page, then Plant, then Bonham. Nuh, it's too hard.

It would be hard to divide the group, although Page was likely the most talented. It took all four, both on and off the road, to be Led Zeppelin.

I'd have to say Jimmy, and not because I'm a fangirl but because without Jimmy there'd be no Zeppelin. Period.

Now, I DO believe that without Robert Plant, the band would not have been as astronomically successful as they were. Page and Plant together were unstoppable.

I'd say third in line was John Paul Jones. He was the seasoned professional of the band, even more so than Page. He's very gifted and I sing his praises as often as I can. Very much overlooked but a vital component.

And last but not least, there's Bonzo. I think his carefree and wild drumming style (much like Page's "sloppy" style) added to the allure of the band. Unfortunately the way he left us added to the preconceived notions that Led Zeppelin were the biggest party boys in rock in that era and wanting for nothing more than fame, fortune, booze and smack.

And Peter Grant was definitely a strong arm and very much a vital component in the success of the band commercially. He made sure the boys got everything they were owed and took care of them. He didn't have much family so the boys were very important to him and it showed in his success as a manager.

Richard Cole was quite an interesting figure as well. :D

That's because he's the only one truly still connected with Zeppelin and still seems to embrace the zeppelin era of his life, something that Plant seems to like to pretend never happened (at least his actions make it seem that way)

I've said it before and I'll say it again... he acts like Zeppelin never happened, and doesn't even acknowledge that it got him where he is today. Dude won't even consider a reunion. Makes me dislike him a little.
