^You bring up good points, and if I were focusing on all that when purchasing from itunes, I would agree with you, but I eventually do end up buying hard copies, even if I download an album, or buy it off itunes. The main reason I buy off itunes is if I feel like buying it is a good use of my money. I tend to download when it's something I want a taste of. I sort of do the 'download to itunes to hard copy' thing. So everything I have on my itunes, I have in CD form. Is it a waste of money? Sure. Is it something I feel comfortable with? Most definitely.

I do see what you're getting at though, I just don't take the time to figure out all the quality stuff like that. If I can tell that it sounds great, that's all I can care about until I get a hard copy for myself.

As much as I don't like that Amazon is slowly murdering Borders stores across the country I will say that I'd back them in a heart beat over Apple (even though I DO have an iPod). If I didn't like having hard copies of music so much then I'd probably could be interested in the cloud.

Agree with Kuaizi's post as well. Hard Copy is going to give you the best sound quality and your control over it.

I could be wrong, but I really doubt that using itunes to play your pirated music is really part of the equation of "Amazon vs Apple".

Did he state that he is using pirated music? Not from what I read. There is torrents that are legal and are paid for.

From his statements I gathered that his listening preferences and the how he listens to them is part of the equation of "Amazon vs. Apple."

It's been said in the past. It didn't need to be said in this specific thread. Add to it, he didn't argue that detail in his reply.

What has been said in the past? Can you be specific? I can't remember every gawd damn posts. Maybe it was stated before I joined the forum. You see, I haven't been here as long as you have now have I?

From what I read of his post in this thread he didn't state if his torrents were legal or illegal. Or did he?
