Re: Thin Lizzy
^^^Those are all fantastic tracks, imo, R. E!
Although I was a fan of Thin Lizzy for a few years before the original release of Black Rose, I was extremely impressed with the entire album when I first heard it. It also quickly became one of my favorite TL albums, too. Imo, the addition of Gary Moore to the band, his creative input with the songs, his guitar playing and the terrific music was fantastic! I do know that he had worked with Phil Lynott before and they were good friends for many years, but Black Rose has many great songs and music on it, imo. I have greatly enjoyed that album for many years, and always will!
There is an awesome version of Got To Give It Up (one of my very favorite TL songs, with great meaning and significance with me) on Life/Live!
Life/Live has many great TL classics and performances, with both the then current band members; Phil Lynott, Scott Gorham, Darren Wharton, Brian Downey and John Sykes, and also guest appearances of all of the previous guitarists, too!
