Gene can talk stupid sometimes and this is no exception I think some of his opinions are valid and some are not in regards to this issue. I also believe he doesn't watch what he says before he says it.

But I haven't seen him sue one downloader yet either. I thik he's just being hypothetical, or a "that would be great" sort of example.

Yeah, he hasn't pulled a Lars Ulrich yet lol

When Metallica, Madonna and some others sued Napster I am not sure if they had their own websites back then or not...:dunno:

If they did then I could at least understand the people that were sued trying to get even...in this case I don't think KISS has ever done that.

^ Oh don't get me wrong. Flaming people sucks. Bashing someone for their beliefs is nothing I'm with. I just think people should stop taking things so offensively because there is no REAL solution for it. Especially when it comes from a computer and the person who said it is usually thousands of miles away.

Well if people hack your computer and/or site from thousands of miles away... well, not so harmless anymore :D

Let Gene and everyone else say what they feel like - last I checked the US was still a free country. Those in this thread who feel he's just a greedy asshole who deserves to be hacked into oblivion... well, I very much disagree.

I think I'm pretty much with LG on this one.

Just because you have the freedom to say what you want does not mean people will not be pissed off because of it.

Internet Hackers doing this type of thing are no different that vandals going out and breaking the windows in your car, keying the doors and slashing your tires. If you don't like a person, fine, don't like them. To vandalize their stuff is not only illegal, but it's morally just a shitty thing to do. If you think that someone deserves to be vandalized, then I hope that by all things right and wrong in this world, that it happens to you as well. Why? Wtf, why not? You deserve it!

I don't like a LOT of celebrities (music, movies, etc), I don't like most of the politicians in the world, I don't like reality TV, but I tell you what.... I don't truly wish ill will on any of those people, no matter how much they bother me, no matter how much they are full of shit (and themselves), no matter how fake they are and full of themselves they are. Dislike them all you like, but to wish harm to come to someone's property because I don't like them? Yeah, sorry. I'm not that ****ing childish.

100% agree with this post.

There's no reason hacking is ever going to be the "right" thing to do. Agree with Gene for fighting this sort of immature behaviour.

Of course, he's fighting a losing battle with the downloading thing, but he does have a vested interest in that one, so his stance isn't exactly surprising.

And you do not think his comments are that of a moron? That was the reason he was hacked.

Did you even read the story?
