Meh he deserve's the attacks.

Sorry my friend I will never hold with any of that kind of kiddie crap. It is the one thing about being online that I find distasteful, kids and anyone else spamming insulting attacking ruining someone else's website or personal information.

If it were commonplace and happened to me I would simply unhook from the cyber world at that point. Being an old dinosaur I can go back to eating raw meat, using fire to heat the house, skins for clothing, hanging out by the water hole checking out the babes when they are doing the washing with no problem whatsoever....:grinthumb

Sorry LG I have to disagree. I think 4chan is a bunch of shit, but I think Gene totally deserves what happened and what will probably happen when he screws with people. He is nothing but a greedy individual. Shit I would have jumped for joy if this happened to Lars Ulrich as well.

^^Sorry my young friend, I find nothing chivalrous about using a computer to attack anyone for any reason...as I said spammers, forum wars, flaming are the things that would convince me to retire from all this.

I have never said anything to anyone online that I wouldn't say face to face, and you have to admit the new generation takes a lot of comfort in their anonymity, although I could choose a different word.

If people really hate what Gene stands for they can use forums/blogs/FB or numerous other ways to vent their feelings, vandalizing a website/homepage or spreading fallacious rumours online are gutless in my opinion and that's never going to change.

All moral issues aside, his response to the attacks was hilarious. He and Jessi Slaughter's dad need to compare notes.

I don't agree with his stance either AAG, but I just don't respect the way people use the internet for this kind of response to someone who has a right to say what they feel, whether you agree or not.

Jessi Slaughter's Dad??

^ Anonymity will lead to spineless comments, its just how we are as people. As for using the word 'attack' I don't know. I could speculate that attack isn't the right word. To me an attack is when someone throws a fist or a bullet in my direction. I don't even want to get into what I think about owning a website about YOURSELF, in a nutshell I think its pretentious.

Now attacking my personal views is something I have no regard for, being different and watching people hate you for it is half the fun.

Then again, I don't have a super especial website that can be shut down. Id imagine I would be frustrated, but then I would take my millions of dollars, go do something with it and forget about the whole thing.

It is a generational issue with me...I simply do not hold with flaming people or doing serious damage to their personal space on the internet.

There are numerous other options other than doing that, and it speaks to the mean spiritedness of an individual as much as being able to get away with it with no repercussions.

^ Oh don't get me wrong. Flaming people sucks. Bashing someone for their beliefs is nothing I'm with. I just think people should stop taking things so offensively because there is no REAL solution for it. Especially when it comes from a computer and the person who said it is usually thousands of miles away.
