^^Sox did you notice a difference in Maiden's Nature of the Beast on vinyl and CD?(Or use another example if you like.) Some of the early CD's were not done properly, as a result many audiophiles considered vinyl copies of 70's and 80's rock/metal bands better than the CD version.

Since I was born in 1991, I can't answer many of the other threads. :heheh:
But anyways, I used CDs and I still buy CDs. I still prefer CDs over an iPod.

by this time I had recorded most of my vinyl to cassette.

So I listened to Cassette in the early 90's.
Mid 90's I started collecting CD's.
But the majority of my music came from the Radio.

As the decade started, it was mostly vinyl; I got a CD player in 1986, but didn't have a ton of CDs yet. I'd make tapes for my car, because I didn't have a CD player in it.

As the decade ended, I had a CD player in the car, and had a 2 year old that could do damage to vinyl if left where he could find it. I also had a decade of collecting the shiny discs, and played vinyl less and less.

Cassettes early on then I bought my first CD player, an LXI deal. It was cheap and did the trick.
