I'll go with what I saw at Coachella this year although I'm not a fan:

Not an actual 'music' moment, but the meat dress was pretty weird. That was this year, wasn't it?

I think this was the 2010 MTV awards or something, but it will probably stand as the wtf moment for the decade. Although which decade I am not sure.

:mad :banghead: OMFG, that is ****ing horrible! I'm almost at a loss for words in describing how bad that is(was). almost, but not a complete loss for words. :tongue:

Seriously, this is my single-favorite Stones song of all time. To see these guys do such an average job on this song is bad enough. Watching Mick try and be "MICK" on stage is painful to watch. His stage presence is a shell of what it used to be. I'd almost rather see him sitting on a stool that to gimp around the stage the way he did there. anyone wants to give me shit and say "well he's old as dirt, give him some slack", I am giving him slack. I'm not saying he should stop performing, but quit trying to be 20/30/40 or even 50 yr old Mick on stage because he's far from his hey-day.

On to that disgusting guest they brought out on stage. I am surprised my ears aren't bleeding. And I don't know what's worse... listening to that trainwreck of a voice or watching her with that brutal outfit and those nasty high heels that make a stripper's clear-heeled shoes look `classy`. Her bouncing around on that stage made me wish there was more of Mick doing his 70 yr old gyrations.

:yuk::nw::&

Yuck, yuck yuck on every single level. Please, for the love of God, please NEVER let this happen ever again.

I'm gonna disrupt the flow here and say Gangnam Style was a surprising success. It's the first number one on the charts I've liked since Kings Of Leon hit Sex On Fire in 2008. Longtime.

I'm with Riff on that Gag'em Style or whatever it's called, I've managed to avoid listening to it and don't plan on changing that anytime soon. This is the Macarena all over again.

Not so much a musical :wtf: moment, but the biggest "faux pas" of 2012 would be Black Sabbath not being able to settle things with Bill Ward and tour. Moral of that mess would be never let your "people" decide things for you. I'm sure if the 4 of them got together in the same room without any handlers they would have come up with an arrangement that treated everyone equally. Of course Tony Iommi's battle with cancer dominated Black Sabbath news when it came out and pushed everything else to the back page.

I don't think I've had a true "WTF" moment in music recently. (Nothing shocks me anymore)

Gangnam style made me scratch my head, but it didn't shock me at all. Infact I heard a mashup that is pretty good:

Dream Theater & PSY - Wither & Gangnam Style

Lady GaGa and the Rolling Stones was pretty bad.......but not a shocker. These genre mashups are becoming popular acts.
