Cheers man. Next time Paul McCartney does a show I'm gonna go. I come from a family of Beatles and especially Macca haters, yet the old man has seen McCartney numerous times through charity gigs and guest appearances :heheh:

I missed DLR's last solo tour in England through apathy and other plans, a couple of mates went, devastated in hindsight.

No harm in a farewell Van Halen tour, so long as it comes to England!

apathy and other plans . that sounds familiar:D
i missed dlr on the skyscraper tour. [i actually went up to the counter with the money in my hand... had a look at the seating arrangements. then decided i'd rather go drinking] same with faith no more [4 times]van halen [98] soundgarden [94][ but it was a choice between a band i was not yet familar with and a busty brunette. and i chose the latter.

and it still keeps happening for me. jeff beck [twice in the last 6 years].

and i'm kicking myself for all those times i missed out

There aren't many gigs I look back at and wish I had been there, but DLR is defintely one of them. TBH I wasn't a massive Van Halen back then, was still getting into them, and knew even less about Dave's solo career.

It was the summer of 2004 that I became a full on Dave and Van Halen extremist haha.
