I can't listen to Budgie because the lead singer sounds like a cross between a tree elf and a munchkin. Very hard for me to listen to for that reason. Musically, they've got some cool stuff, but those vocals grate at me.

Understand, many people feel the same about Rush. I find their riffing balances out or over comes a sub par vocalist.

Oh, I TOALLY feel the same about Rush. If I could listen to Rush with 100% of the vocals removed, I'd probably be a big fan. But Geddy's vocals are nails on a chalkboard to me and I can only listen to their stuff in VERY small doses because of it.
