Drama (Yes) '80 - I don't think it's too popular with Yes fans because it doesn't include Anderson or Wakeman, but the songs and the playing are top notch.

Passionworks ( Heart) - A great album that stands alone as a perfect bridge between the dismantling of the 70's band and sound and the mid-80's, MTV era Heart. Passionworks is the last Heart album for another 20 years that actually featured songs written by Heart, and they were good songs. The actual production is totally given over to the 80's, but Ann & Nancy and the songs were there.

I agree about Drama. It is one of my favorite Yes albums. I also like Fly From Here - another one I don't believe is too popular.

I'd probably agree that the Byrds Album Byrdmaniax was a bit of a low point out of all of their albums, though there are some great tracks on it:

* Pale Blue
* Absolute Happiness
* Green Apple Quick Step
* Kathleen's Song
* Jamaica Say You Will

...and the extended version of that album consists of some other interesting compositions which includes Dylan's "Just Like a Woman" and a Gene Clark song which he did earlier (with the Gosdin Brothers) after he first left the Byrds "Think I'm Gonna Feel Better", though the Gosdin Brothers version is probably the better version (apparently Clarence White liked the song as he was originally part of the Gosdin brothers).

There's quite a few but one that springs to mind is ... Union Yes

wk4u4o.jpg

Rick calls it "The Onion album 'cos it makes him weep" ... I like it ?

I love Shock to the System on the Union album. The official live album omitted this track for some strange reason. Rick enjoyed the Union tour, but not the studio album. He also said he did not recognise any of his playing on the album; he was either replaced by session musicians or computerised to oblivion.

Beat me to those 2 Pink Floyd albums Martin...:grinthumb

I managed to find Momentary on vinyl a couple months ago, and Division Bell I got when it came out and saw the tour as well so it's always going to bring back good memories.

I remember The Division Bell being released on vinyl. I bought the CD, but badly wanted the full size album cover.
