Bill Ward is the original drummer and I think Cozy Powell is better than Ward or Appice.

I disagree...love Cozy Powell - great drummer, but he's too textbook compared to Bill Ward. Sounds like an insult to Cozy Powell, but it isn't.

Bill Ward is a unique drummer. Amazing drummer -- like Keith Moon, Ward created new drum beats...nothing basic in his playing.

No disrespect to the late Cozy Powell - he's one of rock's great drummers.

All in my opinion, of course.
