I just dug out Tommy and played it the other day. It's a good album, though sadly it gets overlooked, I think for a period there though I was playing it a lot.

^^Cool :D It's sad it feels like it's been Years since I've played it. :(

Though I'd probably say that I haven't played albums like "Dark Side of The Moon" or "The Wall" in years as well. "The Wall" suffers cause it's a bit depressing, and then some people suggest that you should take drugs to enjoy "The Wall", which encourages me not to play it.

^^Proves my point most lead singers in bands are bullies at heart MP.

Pat better stay on his toes is all I have to say...:heheh:

Think I'll dig out Quadrophenia later today, haven't listened to it for years.

CP/M, I played The Wall a few days ago, no drugs needed to enjoy it. It's funny I really enjoy the album, but am not a fan of the movie. For the movie I would definitely take something to make it through to the end.;)

Yeah I worry about some of these people at work because it sounds like a lot of them had at one stage or another taken Drugs and associate their Music with Drugs and point out what they think is a Drug song. They have even gone as far to say that "Puff The Magic Dragon" is a Drug Song - which they obviously picked up from "Meet The Parents".

So sad to say that these people were probably taking Drugs while listening to "The Wall" album, I've seen bits of the movie, though the album is enough for me to handle. If you want to see Bob Geldof go insane, watch the short movie "I am Bob" instead. :D

Having experimented with drugs in my youth I can understand when some people think it adds to the experience when listening to music. But the great artists/albums stand on their own and you don't need any artificial additives to make it more enjoyable.

I do like drinking a few cold beers a couple times a month and playing some of my old hard rock/heavy metal records, it just feels perfect to me.

I am not a Bob Geldof fan, didn't like the Boomtown Rats, not a big fan of his singing or acting. I do think him being cast as Pink in the movie was another reason I didn't like it very much.

I don't know a lot about the Boomtown Rats, unfortunately, though I heard another song of their's which made me think that their a bit like early Roxy Music, though it's a bit hard to judge from just one song. :D

My brother had one of their albums with "I Don't Like Mondays" on it, can't remember the title of the record though.

Back to the Who, I should get round to playing Quadrophenia later today finally.:D
