Yeah thank gawd they had some portraits and busts done though.

I am biased of course but that is the best picture of the lot so far.

It's certainly one of my faves as well, though so far I think I like the one of Frank Zappa the most.

Frank is one of the few rock artists who recorded enough material to almost qualify on the same level as the old great composers. Magic did a post about him either in here or somewhere else and I was amazed how prolific he was over his career.

Well while he isn't in my top 10 favorite artists (though he certainly is up there somewhere) I consider Frank Zappa to be one of the greatest music geniuses ever and music's best kept secret.

What's funny about your post LG is that Frank always called himself not a songwriter, but a composer as he had great love for classical music, jazz, and other pre-rock genres.
