Thank you everyone. Glad you all enjoyed it and that it turned out about a million times better than the favorite albums covers thread (I made a strong effort to not duplicate that endeavor ).


I'm happy with the list as well for all of the surprises of bands that were included and all of the big names that didn't even receive a single vote. I was the lone voter for the majority of my 10 but with Alice Cooper and Queen being my top two and both of them making the top 25 of the list I am happy about that.


I'll be more than happy to put together some other threads of grand magnitude like this in the future. I'm mulling on some ideas.

Tori has some dedicated fans and I like that she was such a dark horse that still made it to the top 15. She is the newest artist to make it so high since she is the only one artist from the 90's to even crack the top 30.


Also look at this, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Elton John, ELO, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beach Boys, The Sex Pistols, The Police, Boston, Journey, Joe Cocker, Dire Straits, Cheap Trick, Bob Marley, Billy Joel, Alice In Chains, and countless other big names didn't even get a single vote from anyone. Go figure.

I'm happy with the Dead in the top 15, I expected the rest of mine to do better, but oh well, it was fun
