Stuart Cable dies age 40

They were (or, still are as far as I'm aware) a "BritPop" group in similar vein to Oasis or Travis or bands like that. Not bad, as far as BritPop goes, but I'm not surprised Lynch isn't well-versed in their history

I don't have any of their albums either Feldy...but BritPop is not my strong suit either, as everyone knows by now. A couple of exceptions of course.

I looked him up on Wikipedia before I even posted and I still didn't know who he is or the band he was in. Never heard of either.

RIP just the same.

A good band - singer, Kelly Jones has a cracking voice, a bit like Rod Stewart's.

The Stereophonics were and still are a superb band ....I was shocked to hear of Stuarts sudden death .....so in tribute to him ..the very best of the Stereophonics
