I hope this thread and its contents convert some peeps from thinking that Canadian rock sux

I don't know what your talking about SS.. I love loads of Canadian bands.. They are the same to me as any European or American bands..

Evidently you've been on a few forums only so far.....many so-called "rock forums" I saw are full of hate posts against this or that Canadian band

I have seen a few of those myself, but I am impervious to anyone slamming bands I grew up with, they have their opinions and I have mine. And we have some pretty damn good artists from the 60's till now so it's all good to me.

AHHH Got you S&L.. Well music forums are full of know it all's.. Like LG said.. You can't take them serious.. Hell they could be all jacked up on High powered Windex when they log on..
Grain of Salt stuff so to speak.. In one ear and out the other..
Or to define it more better... through the eye holes and out the ass is where I take those kinda opinions..

Born to be Wild always was the quintessential Steppenwolf song to me, until I heard Magic Carpet Ride and Hey Lawdy Mama. Those blew Born to be Wild out of the water!

Nice to see you know who they are, but I disagree about "Blowing BTBW Out of the Water".

It has been overplayed no doubt, but it is one of those songs that I have to play at a decent volume, and I never tire of hearing it. Steppenwolf did a lot of good albums and songs, Thumper is way more knowledgeable about them than I am though.
