Just watched the original The Trees video for the first time...very impressive. The first song I heard from Rush was back in the early 80s, Spirit of the Radio. Since then I've been a big fan.

I like something off every Rush album, which isn't unusual for a die hard fan, but the albums that cemented Rush as "THE" band for me are:

Permanent Waves
Moving Pictures
Signals
Grace Under Pressure

Like a ton of their other stuff too but the "big 4" for me just keep getting better with age and I never tire of them.

Great minds must think alike because those four are really what cemented my love for Rush!

I was in Dublin to see them last week and they were FANTASTIC!!! It was the best Rush gig I've ever been to. I've seen them before but only in Birmingham but in the O2 in Dublin I was in the standing area, about 10 feet from Alex all show. no need to look at the video monitors (which were excellently done) apart from for the video intro parts of the show.
Superb show all round

The video intro's are funny and show the bands sense of humor. Refreshing to see that they don't take themselves so serious. The video's on the Snakes and Arrows tour were funny as well.
