Rory has been a welcome addition to my collection. There are few artists in my collection in general who have impressed me as much as he has in such a short period of time. Knowing his passion for his playing and how he liked to stay out of the limelight has made him very likeable for me. I think I'll get either Blueprint or Photo Finish next and I'm sure I'll be happy with it as all of his albums so far have been very enjoyable.

One of my favorites from the last studio album of his I purchased.

Remembering Rory w/ a live version of one of my favorites . Awesome blues rock guitar god .. May he play on in rock and roll Valhalla

I always loved his live performances at Beat Club. Here's my favourite track from my favourite album (and it's not Calling Card anymore :D).

Wooo, I Fall Apart. Great track. And yes, you won't (in fact you can't) be disappointed with any of his albums purchased. Don't know about the albums released after his death, but damn, up to Fresh Evidence his blues rock will always be one of my huge influences.

I have just re-read this book. I thought it was a lot more informative about Rory than the Jean-Noel Coghe biography :grinthumb The other musicians made good reading too!

I heard through a friend recently that Gerry McAvoy is going out on the road with a Rory Gallagher tribute band!!.

I guess Gerry has more claim to then anyone else has?. :oyea:

Really enjoying the Deuce album. Some nice acoustic blues in there. Love the song Don't Know Where I'm Goin.

Nice rediscovering this sort of blues music. Rory has done some amazing albums.

It is a great one Riffy. I have yet to be disappointed in any of his albums. I'd recommend getting Tattoo next and his S/T is pretty amazing also :)

Deuce, the self titled and Irish Tour are my favorites. You have to check out Rory in the live environment. It where he truly shines at his most uninhibited best.
