Rory Gallagher is quite possibly one of the most passionate guitarists ever. I have the utmost respect for him and his work.

It breaks my heart sometimes that he is getting buried in the sands of time though....

My parents are big Rory Gallagher fans so I have been listening to his music forever. My favourite songs are, Bad Penny (live version), Shinkicker, Going To My Hometown, Too Much Alcohol and Walk On Hot Coals.

I have to admit to Cosmic that I was never a big fan of his...but I do have two of his albums now, but haven't played them yet. Story of my life.

What can I say... one of my all time favourites. I have heaps of his stuff and am as blown away now as when I first heard him. They say "horses for courses" this is one I would back every time. Much missed. His shows went on for hours but were so good it seemed like 10 mins and I only payed about £5 for the privilege.
