{Resolved} ''Share a song'' option has been disabled on Grooveshark?

Anyone know if the ''share a song'' option has been disabled on Grooveshark?

Doesn't seem to work anymore?

Step 3. Now right click the song. This will bring up a pop-up menu. Scroll down to “Share Song”. Another menu will pop-up and scroll down this menu to “widget” and click on this.

Step 4. Now you have the widget for the song but you’re not done yet. Click “customize” at the bottom of the widget. A whole new screen will open.

Step 5. On this screen you will see “next step”, click this.

Step 6. Now all you need to do is click “Finish”.

Step 7. In your URL bar at the top of the screen you will see http:// widgets.grooveshark.com/finished?widgetid= 23397774 This number in RED is what you will put in the grooveshark tags.

The widget option is no longer there; it could just be grooveshark being buggy like it does. We'll have to wait for Magic to see if she knows what's wrong.
The songs that are already posted here are still working correctly.

I sure hope Grooveshark doesn't remove that option for a widget.....


But here is another way to get your widget

1) Go to the URL for making widgets: Grooveshark Widgets - Music Playlists for Your MySpace & Blog

2) Once you have the widget page opened, click "Next Step".

3) Search for the song you want.

4) Click the "+" next to the song to add it to the widget.

5) Click Finish.

6) copy the number from the URL (same as before) and put it in the grooveshark tags.

Example:

Hey Magic....they added the widget option back....but the changed it...

Actually, it looks like the made it simpler to use (not so many steps)

Anyway, we can get the code and use it on here on CRF?

It isn't quite the same widget, Groovy.

The work-around option is still working and available:

I will have to work on the new widget and see if I can get it to work

Ok, this is pissing me off. Has anyone got a workaround to the silly bullshit that GS did with removing widgets, then putting them back only different ... giving a preview a button to show the widget but not giving you any code to copy!?




Magic's workaround worked for me for a little while, but it's probably been close to a month since I posted a GS tune and now it's just looking all busted as hell (again).
