This is really good! I must confess, I haven't really gone out of my way to get into the Vines, but I really like this song. Quite lovely, in fact... 8/10

Never heard this before. A pretty good song, actually. I don't have any Beach Boys discs, and what I do know of them I know only from the radio, so I was certainly never acquainted with any of their solo work. But like I said, this is nice... 7/10

Always a firm fave..sadly i never managed to obtain a copy with the peel off banana!
The 'jangle' of this period- flavoured with Eastern tones...9/10.

Saw these support the Quo way back when- a very tight and hard driving combo..

Horrible band name...but a really nice song. The guitar solos, the vocals...it all works quite well. 7.7/10

Marillion - Punch & Judy.

Believe it or not, I've never actually heard anything by Marillion up until now! I always read that they were sort of the heirs apparent to the Gabriel-era Genesis sound, and on hearing this I can certainly understand the comparison, although this has a slightly more metallic bite to it. One of these days, I'll try to make some more time for these guys, because this is really good! 8/10
