A bit of Eddie Cochran and Rockabilly, good driving song 6.8/10
Well dirty Romulus...fine blues goin' on below that capo. 9/10.
Don Van Vliet excels here:
Cpt.Beefheart - Further Than We've Gone.
Very calm song with beautiful arrangements. 7.5/10.
Not exactly terrible in and of itself, for it's certainly a competent slice of late-'80s & early-'90s style hard-rock balladry. But there's certainly nothing about it that stands out from what back then was a very crowded pack. I'm a big hard rock and metal fan - certainly an unrepentant one - and I like to think of myself as the opposite of snobbish. But I've just gotta say that this serves as a prime example of why Nirvana, Seattle and Lollapalooza had to happen! 5/10
Catchy vocals, a combined effect of like Pyche Folk Grunge, thanks.
Good, melodious alt-rock. 6.5/10.
Good song with a very heavy and dark sound, I really enjoyed it 8/10
Didn't care much for some of the imagery in the video but it's a good cover of a classic song. 7.5/10
This album lived in my player for yonks..not a duff track on Fuss- like the shouting too. 8/10.
Working the mines when this hit.
David Gray - Please Forgive Me.
Good voice, I like the quark of it.
