^^I would say listening to them while under the influence of mind altering drugs is the only way to fully appreciate them lol

^^^:lmao: Depends on what type of 'trip' you're on.

I just about jumped off a cliff one night listening 'Yeti' 25 years ago.

Wow, you seem to have had some bad situations involving music and substances my friend .

I suggest you stay clear of them, bro :D

Julian Jay Savarin is the brains behind this concept album, 'Waiters on the Dance' from 1971. Some what poppy prog though there is interludes of space rock and heavy prog and it sounds kind of out dated, though very melodic and compelling.

I am a 'sucker' for female vocals in prog. more so than any other genre. Lady Jo Meek's vocals are beautiful and is the sister to Anna Meek who fronted vocals in Catapilla which was featured in a earlier post in this thread.

The only comparison I can make is that of the sound of Brian Auger and the Trinity.

My Solid Ground s/t debut from 1971 is heavy, dark sinister krautrock. "Dirty Yellow Mist" is a psych monster. "The Excutioner" is a hallucinatory, killer guitar riffed depressed narrative. Very trippy.

Krautrockers Thirsty Moon fused prog and jazz and sounds similar to that of the Canterbury sound. Having only thier s/t debut from 1972 I can't comment on thier other releases. "Yellow Sunshine" is a trip.
